New AirPods provide a whole new experience of wireless headphones. They are activated as soon as you pick them up from the charging case and are ready to use with the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac.

After a single push, AirPods sets everything. A slightly magical feeling. They turn on automatically and are always connected. AirPods detect when you have them in your ears and pause when you remove them.

When you want to adjust the volume, change a song, make a call or get a driving description, you just say "Hello Siri" and talk about what you want. AirPods are powered by Apple's new H1 chip and are equipped with optical sensors and motion accelerometers that detect when you have them in your ears. Whether you use both AirPods or just one, the H1 chip automatically redirects the sound and activates the microphone. When talking on the phone, or with Siri, a voice accelerometer works with beam-forming microphones to filter out background noise and focus on your voice.
