Agrofoils are one of the basic materials used in landscaping gardens and various green areas for public use such as parks or squares. They form a protective layer to be covered with bark mulch or stone immediately after the first planting. They are also used in agriculture and horticulture such as large strawberry blueberry or raspberry plantations providing effective protection against weeds and excessive moisture loss.

The temperature of the soil covered with agrofilm is higher which promotes the development of the root system. As a result of mulching with black agrofilm the vegetative growth of plants is significantly accelerated.

Unlike black agrotextile black agrofilm is completely permeable to water which means that the cultivated plants do not lack moisture water from precipitation and irrigation enters the covered soil.
