Beaphar CARE+ hamster food contains animal protein and is high in fat, making it ideal for the high energy requirements of the hamster. The pellets are specially designed to allow hamsters to easily store the food in their cheek pouches. Each pellet has the same composition ('all-in-one'), which is important for a balanced diet as it prevents selective eating and the build-up of leftovers. Specially hardened pellets promote natural tooth wear. Beaphar CARE+ contains: - Green tea extract to stimulate and support the immune system - Echinacea - Spirulina - Vitamin E - Yucca schidigera - Chelated minerals for better absorption and availability - FOS and MOS to maintain healthy gut flora - Omega 3/6 fatty acids.
Feeding recommendations: most hamsters readily accept Beaphar CARE+; however, if you are switching from another food, it is important to make the change gradually. Therefore, mix some of the old food with Beaphar CARE+ in the first few days. The daily amount of Beaphar CARE+ required depends on the size and weight of the hamster. Give 8-15 g of Beaphar CARE+ per day. It is preferable to feed in the evening. Fresh drinking water should always be available. Store Beaphar CARE+ in a cool, dry place.
